Fishing and Water Sports
Nest Lake is approximately 950 acres with a maximum depth of 40 feet. A popular lake for walleye, northern pike small and largemouth bass, black crappie, and bluegills. You can fish from one of our docks, bring your own boat (one dock space available with each cabin), use the boat provided with your cabin (rent one of our motors or bring your own), or rent our 2005 20' pontoon and take the whole family out. We do allow speed boats and jet skis (rental available nearby), however we do expect our guests to use proper water courtesy. Life jackets are required on all watercraft, paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks. |

| Surrounding Area Information Hike, bike, or in-line skate on the nearby beautiful Glacial Lakes State Trail - 12 miles of paved trail from Willmar to New London, with optional paved trails and designated bike lanes to Sibley State Park and surrounding areas. Visit Sibley State Park and take in one of the daily programs at the park Interpretative Center or visit Mount Tom via the many miles of trail throughout the park.
